Post 100 – When Conflict Turns Violent: The Round Rock Incident
During our time living in Round Rock, Texas, an argument escalated into violence. Jeff locked me out of the home and broke a window in rage.
Prior to this, he had physically grabbed my throat, spat in my face, and used intimidation tactics by blocking the door when the police arrived.
Both children were present during the incident. I instructed Esther to take Eli upstairs to protect him, but she froze and screamed, prompting me to step in and shield them both.
